Taiwan Wuling Prison: To address the issue of overcrowding in correctional facilities, the Ministry of Justice restructured the "Taiwan Wuling Minimum-Security Prison" into the "Taiwan Wuling Prison" on July 1, 1999. Prisoners involved in external work were transferred to other external work prisons, and the facility began housing general prisoners.
